NOT QUITE! Women have been riding motorcycles for a very long time. It may have started with riding on the back with boyfriends or husbands, or some were tomboys who rode dirt bikes, but today women makeup 10% of all riders with more than 1,000 female-only motorcycle clubs nationwide. Gone forever are the images of “Biker Chicks” or “Biker Mamas.”
