David Cole, Attorney
As a youngster, David Cole recognized his love and passion of motorcycles. Well before law school, he owned and regularly rode numerous motorcycles. With his passion for the open wind and motorcycles, fighting to protect injured Texas motorcyclists and motorcycle rights seemed a natural fit after graduating from law school.
After becoming licensed to practice law in 1992, David Cole saw the injustice that many motorcyclists experienced while pursuing their right of recovery in Texas. He saw first hand how many insurance companies and theirs lawyers attempted to “sell” biker bias and use such bias to limit the injured motorcyclists’ recovery. Appalled at this blatant unfairness, David Cole teamed with Bill Ley to protect Texas injured motorcyclists and their rights. Bill Ley is a board certified Texas personal injury attorney who had limited his practice to representing solely Texas motorcyclists. He has spent more than 30 years representing bikers and has been the recipient of numerous awards for these efforts in protecting Texas motorcyclists’ rights.
David Cole has spent most of legal career successfully fighting the big insurance machine. With dogged determination and fight, David Cole has successfully fought for injured bikers across the Great State of Texas. Unafraid of the courthouse and his opponents, he has fought for injured Texas motorcyclists from Beaumont to Amarillo to Brownsville to Dallas. Bringing his personal biking experience and dogged determination, he leaves no stone unturned to protect his clients. David Cole is married, with 3 kids, and takes to the road whenever possible. He regularly participates in Texas Legislative Day to promote Texas motorcycle laws and has enjoyed attending rallies from Lone Star Rally, Republic of Texas (ROT), St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, TMRA2 State Rally, Golden Aspen, Bikes Blues and BBQ, Hawgs N Hills and Big Texas Toy Run. With his small town Texas upbringing, fight and passion for motorcycles, injured bikers know they are in good hands with The Cole Law Firm.
